Heading north on a train to Mohe
At a railway station, young travelers board a train bound for Mohe, luggage in hand. In the extreme cold, frost covers the windows. "2026." "Mohe." Words are written on the glass, followed by handprints–a small ritual, and a sign of anticipation. Outside on the platform, people pose for photos with the words "Suihua-Mohe." It's more than a train route–it's a clear direction: heading north. Light-colored down jackets and rolling suitcases. Locals can tell at a glance–these are travelers. And they're walking toward the icy world of China's northernmost town.
