The instigator of anti-China riots, Jimmy Lai, has been sentenced by the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to 20 years in prison under the national security law. Barrister Lawrence Ma, chairman of the Hong Kong Legal Exchange Foundation, shared his perspectives on Lai's sentence.
