The APEC China 2026 First Senior Officials' Meeting was held from February 1 to 10 in Guangzhou, southern China, marking the official launch of a year-long series of "APEC China Year" activities. The event brought together over fourteen hundred of representatives from APEC member economies, the APEC Secretariat, and the Business Advisory Council. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended and addressed the opening session on February 10.
