From roots to renewables: Nauru president looks to China for a clean energy future

While visiting southern China's Guangdong province for a family reunion during the Chinese New Year, Republic of Nauru President David Adeang toured a solar technology factory in Jiangmen, the hometown of his great-grandfather. Praising China's "world-class" renewable technology, he said cooperation with China could help Nauru transition from 50% to 100% renewable energy and serve as a model for other island nations.
