As the Chinese Spring Festival approaches, a centuries-old sesame candy, recognized as a local cultural heritage in Ruicheng, Shanxi Province, is now in peak production. Inside the workshop, artisans move in sync – stretching molten sugar, cutting it into slabs, and coating each piece with sesame seeds.
