Chinese robotics firm unveils world-first humanoid machines at gala event

Chinese robotics company AGIBOT hosted a 60-minute gala performed almost entirely by humanoid robots ahead of the Chinese New Year.

Led by over 200 robots, the gala marked a significant leap in advancing embodied intelligence from laboratory settings to the complex realms of social interaction and entertainment.

It is not the first time humanoid robots have taken part in Spring Festival celebrations. Last year, 16 Unitree robots performed alongside human dancers on the stage of China Central Television's highly watched state gala, which will be held this year on February 16.
