Congratulations! China conducts key test for manned lunar mission

A major test involving China's new-generation heavy-lift rocket and its new-generation crewed spacecraft was conducted on Wednesday at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern China.

The landmark flight test combined a low-altitude demonstration of the Long March-10 rocket system with a maximum dynamic-pressure escape test of the Mengzhou crewed spacecraft.

It marks a significant step forward for the country's crewed lunar program.
