Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on Thursday stated that no actions or remarks by Taiwan leader Lai Ching-tei can alter the historical and legal fact that Taiwan is part of China's territory. Speaking at a regular press briefing, Lin said that nothing can shake the fundamental framework upheld by the international community adhering to the one-China principle.
