French government spokesperson Maud Bregeon encouraged women who may have been victims in cases linked to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to seek justice after a French diplomat was implicated. The case should be fully investigated, she stressed after the Cabinet meeting, adding that it was up to the justice system to do its job.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said on Tuesday that he had referred Fabrice Aidan's matter to the public prosecutor after the diplomat's name appeared in the Epstein files.
