Russia will continue to defend its legitimate interests on the international stage amid the formation of a multipolar world, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.
Lavrov made the remarks during a plenary session at the State Duma. He said that the West has still not rid itself of the mania of its colonial slave-owning delusion.
Citing Washington's military intervention in Venezuela, escalating pressure on Cuba, ongoing destabilization campaigns against Iran and the crisis facing Greenland, Lavrov said that the world has entered an era of rapid and profound change.
