Southern China's Guangzhou successfully hosted the APEC China 2026 First Senior Officials' Meeting from February 1 to 10. Chen Xu, chair of the APEC 2026 Senior Officials' Meeting, said the event marks the full launch of all APEC mechanisms under the “China Year,” with cooperation across various fields set to accelerate. APEC representatives also expressed strong support for China's agenda.
