Bobsleigh is one of the most electrifying events of the Winter Olympics, where raw power meets split-second precision. Teams explode off the starting line, pushing a sleek sled before leaping inside as it plunges down a twisting ribbon of ice. At breathtaking speeds, every movement matters, and trust between teammates becomes as vital as strength or skill.
What truly defines bobsleigh is its delicate balance between control and risk. A flawless run lasts less than a minute, but demands intense focus, courage, and unity. As the sled slices through the track, it becomes more than a race – it is a thrilling fusion of physics, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of speed.
Bobsleigh competitions will be held at the Cortina Sliding Centre in Cortina d'Ampezzo at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter between February 15 and 22 with a total of four gold medals for grabs.
