Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, called on the factions in Syria to advance an inclusive political process and alleviate the humanitarian crisis, noting that the situation in the country remains fragile. He stated at a UN Security Council meeting that advancing political reconciliation is key to resolving the Syrian issue. China hopes that the factions in Syria will uphold the ceasefire and integration agreement that had been reached and restore stability as soon as possible, he added.
