Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Saturday emphasized efforts to ensure transportation services during the Spring Festival travel rush, focus on workplace safety and social stability, and improve the quality of tourism services, ensuring people enjoy a happy and peaceful holiday.

Li, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during an inspection tour of the Ministry of Emergency Management.

He pointed out that as more people choose to travel during festivals, it is essential to enhance proactive service awareness and refine supporting services across all links of the chain, including transportation, dining, accommodation and shopping, to ensure that visitors from all over can arrive with enthusiasm and leave satisfied.

Li added that it is necessary to regulate the tourism market, strengthen coordinated law enforcement and promptly handle complaints to effectively protect the rights and interests of tourists.
