The 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics entered the eighth day of competitions on Saturday when there will be eight gold medals to battle for.

On the rink, participants will battle for the men's 500m speed skating gold medal, including three from China: Gao Tingyu, Lian Ziwen and Xue Zhiwen.

Later on the skeleton tracks of the Cortina Sliding Centre in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the women's skeleton title will be awarded to the fastest slider.

Meanwhile at the Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo, the men's ski jumping large hill individual competition will ignite the crowd.

On the same day, people at the Forum di Milano in Milan will find out who will top the men's 1,500m short track speed skating podium.
