China's railways are expected to handle 13.95 million trips on Sunday, the first day of the Spring Festival holiday. To ensure convenient travel for passengers, the railway authorities have arranged 1,568 additional trains.

Special train services from major hubs, such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, to destinations including Chongqing, Guizhou, and Henan, were also arranged to meet the travel demand of people heading home from cities where they work.
