U.S. forces conducted a "right-of-visit" operation, interdicting and boarding a vessel in the Indian Ocean overnight, the U.S. Department of War said on Sunday.

"The Aquila II was operating in defiance of President Trump's established quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean," the department said in an X post.
