First 500 kV substation launched in Yangtze River Delta under 15th Five-Year Plan

A new 500 kV substation in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, has entered service, becoming the first of its kind in the Yangtze River Delta during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period.

With a capacity of 2,000 MVA, it can supply 13.7 billion kWh of electricity annually, enough to power around 4.5 million households.
