While millions across China reunite with their families for the Spring Festival, about 26,000 emergency response personnel remain on duty, according to the Chinese Ministry of Emergency Management. Some of them are spending the holiday far from home, standing guard in the deep sea. Hundreds of kilometers off the coast of the island province of Hainan, emergency responders are stationed to protect one of China's offshore drilling platforms. CGTN's Cen Ziyuan brings us the story.
