A new round of trilateral talks among Ukraine, the United States and Russia concluded on Wednesday in Geneva.

The two-day negotiations were held behind closed doors.

Russia's presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky told Russian media that the second-day talks lasted about two hours.

"There were two days of negotiations: a very long meeting held in various formats yesterday and a few more hours today," Medinsky said.

"They were difficult but businesslike. The next meeting will be held shortly," Medinsky told the media on Wednesday after the second round of talks.
