"Becoming Chinese" has become a lifestyle trend overseas, with many announcing on social platforms that they have "entered a very Chinese phase of life" with activities like drinking hot water, eating homemade congee and practicing mindful movement with Baduanjin.

During the Spring Festival, Madrid's Chinatown in the district of Usera has also embraced its Chinese character. Red lanterns line the streets, horse-themed posters decorate the walls, and local content creator Alvaro Barco is here to show us around.
