On February 21, 2026, the Chaoyang Yingge Carnival was held in Shantou, in south China's Guangdong Province. Featuring 20 Yingge teams, over a thousand Yingge dancers and a 35-lion dance of Chaoyang, the event spanned the Wen Guang Tower Square, the main roads in the city and the Chaoyang Sports Center, presenting an exciting and splendid cultural feast. At this event, 20 Yingge teams from Malaysia and the local region took turns performing on stage.
