To celebrate the Spring Festival, Zhengding County in Hebei Province hosted a series of folk cultural activities, including a magnificent Changshan war drum performance. As a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage item, the Changshan war drum dates back some 1,700 years ago and was used during wars to intimidate the enemy. Today, this tradition has evolved into a festive celebration, passed down through generations with both male and female inheritors.
