The Sacramento Kings hosted their fourth annual Chinese New Year NBA game, featuring lanterns, lion dance performances and festive greetings on the arena screen on February 19. Fourteen martial arts youths from Laizhou, east China's Shandong Province, performed alongside American students during a first-quarter timeout, blending kung fu, dance and traditional routines. The Laizhou martial arts school has run a U.S. branch for over a decade, with about 500 American youths training each year, promoting cultural exchange through martial arts.
