According to U.S. sources on February 20, Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base may serve as a key hub for potential U.S. military planning related to strikes on Iran. Satellite imagery from the same day showed more than 60 U.S. military aircraft deployed at the base – roughly three times the usual number. The images also showed F-35 fighter jets, multiple drones, and helicopters. New air defense systems were also reportedly installed at the site.
