From shortages of train tickets and mass motorcycle journeys to high-speed rail and extensive road networks nowadays, infrastructure growth has transformed both travel capacity and experience.

According to the State Council Information Office of China, this year's Chinese Spring Festival travel period runs from February 2 to March 13, lasting 40 days. Nationwide cross-regional passenger movement is expected to reach another record high.
