In 2026, Shaanxi Province in northwest China is taking concrete steps to improve both rural and urban life, with regular protection efforts in the Qinling Mountains to restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity and safeguard wildlife habitats

 In recent years, Shaanxi has continued to strengthen Qinling conservation and ecological governance, while maintaining Class II water quality in the Shaanxi section of the Yellow River.

By protecting green mountains and expanding green spaces, Shaanxi is turning ecological progress into something tangible for people – cleaner rivers, safer habitats and a brighter everyday life across the province.
