Speaking at the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council on Monday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for upholding sovereign equality and rejecting double standards in the name of human rights. He urged all countries to abide by international law, uphold non-interference in internal affairs, and promote a more balanced and effective system of global human rights governance.
