From supporting local manufacturing to speaking up for livelihood issues, Deng Weiping keeps her work focused on what people need most.

A deputy to the Dongguan Municipal People's Congress and director of Dongguan's Huangjiang Town's publicity, education, culture, sports and tourism office, she brings a strong grassroots perspective to local development. She has helped put Huangjiang-made products, including bicycles, on a bigger stage.

In culture, sports and tourism, she has also helped grow Huangjiang's cycling brand through major events, better routes and stronger support services, turning cycling into a new driver of consumption and city vitality. She also promotes culture-based city development and greater youth participation in public cultural life.

From industry advocate to community voice, Deng has shown what grassroots representation looks like in action: practical, people-centered and close to the community.
