China pushes back against U.S. accusations at UN Security Council

China rejected U.S. accusations regarding the Ukraine crisis during a UN Security Council meeting on February 24, reiterating that it is neither the creator of nor a party to the conflict. China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Fu Cong said trade relations with Russia, Ukraine, Europe and the United States are legitimate and beyond reproach. He urged the U.S. to stop shifting blame and "stop creating conflicts and wars around the world."
