German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for an official visit to China from February 25 to 26. CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Berlin to ask locals about their impressions of China and their views on bilateral cooperation.

Financial advisor Falk said he was impressed by China's development in recent years, adding that China is turning into an innovation hub from a manufacturing hub. "There are some industries that used to be key industries in Germany that today could possibly learn quite a lot from what has meanwhile been produced in terms of innovation in China," he said.
