The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a military parade in Pyongyang on Wednesday night to mark the 9th Congress of the Workers Party of Korea, state media reports. The parade featured over 14,000 troops, but there was no possession of nuclear weapons. DPRK leader Kim Jong Un says he plans to expand the country's nuclear arsenal. Kim says thawing relations with the United States would depend on Washington's attitude toward Pyongyang.
