Ukraine withdraws from CIS deals on joint air defense

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on Wednesday on Ukraine's withdrawal from the Agreement on the Establishment of an Integrated Air Defense System of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The main purpose of this agreement is to protect the airspace of member states.

He also signed a separate decree ordering Ukraine's withdrawal from 30 international treaties within the CIS, of which Russia is a member, according to Interfax.
