In east China, the annual Taibo Temple Fair has opened in Meili Ancient Town in Wuxi, a major commercial hub in Jiangsu Province. Held on the ninth day of the first month on the traditional Chinese calendar, the Taibo Temple Fair is a long-standing tradition commemorating Taibo, founder of the ancient Wu realm. This year's event features a special program inviting visitors to tour the temple fair through movies.

Blending cinematic storytelling with immersive offline activities, the fair showcases folk parades, intangible cultural heritage performances and traditional markets. Ancient customs are reimagined through light and shadow, breathing fresh vitality into centuries-old traditions.

Beyond the temple fair, the Wuxi National Digital Film Industry Park has also launched an event titled "Follow the Movies to Explore Intangible Heritage Market." Inside the park's modern studio spaces, visitors can experience traditional craftsmanship up close, combining the magic of film production with the cheer of festive customs.
