Foreign enterprises continue to show strong confidence in China's market, with 94.9 percent rating the country's business environment as "satisfactory."
The findings are part of the 2025 China Business Environment Report released by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on February 28. The report is based on more than 6,000 valid questionnaires and on-site research involving nearly 1,000 Chinese and foreign enterprises.
Overall, surveyed companies rated China's business environment at 4.39 out of 5, marking the second consecutive year of improvement. And foreign funded enterprises gave China an overall score of 4.51 out of 5 – reaching an "excellent" level.
Among foreign-funded enterprises, 70.4 percent reported stable or rising profits in 2025, citing improved industry conditions and China's economic recovery as key drivers, underscoring continued optimism about the Chinese market.
