On February 28, Israel's defense minister announced that Israel had launched preemptive strikes on Iran. On the same day, explosions were reported in the country's capital Tehran. Multiple provinces across Iran also heard blasts, but no casualties have been reported so far. Iran's Civil Aviation Authority says the country's airspace is closed until further notice.
