After strikes hit Tehran, one Chinese businesswoman decided to leave. She carpooled with other Chinese nationals and departed after midnight, driving through the night to reach the Azerbaijan border on Sunday morning. After a few hours of waiting at the crossing, she was admitted into Azerbaijan on the afternoon of March 1. On the other side, she was met by Chinese embassy staff who had traveled from Baku with a bus to take her and the group to the capital.
