Iran's Fars news agency reported Sunday that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in U.S.-Israeli attacks on Saturday. Iran's Revolutionary Guards vowed on Sunday to punish the "murderers" of supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

A new series of powerful blasts were heard Sunday in Tehran after the Israel Defense Forces said strikes in western and central Iran are "currently underway."

About 40 Iranian officials have been killed in the U.S. and Israeli strikes, CBS News reported on Sunday, citing sources.
