In recent years, the United States has withdrawn from various international organizations. Kishore Mahbubani, distinguished fellow at the Asia Research Institute of the National University of Singapore, has pointed out that such actions by certain Western countries ultimately harm their own interests. In stark contrast, China has proactively put forward the Global Governance Initiative, contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions. Mahbubani argues that this is, in fact, a generous gift from China to the world – one that Western countries should embrace with gratitude rather than rejection.
