When the thousand-year kiln fires of Jingdezhen, famed "porcelain capital" in east China's Jiangxi Province, meet new digital sparks like AI design and 3D printing, tradition begins to glow in new ways.
This year, Zhang Jingjing, a deputy to the National People's Congress and vice president of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, will bring along a special piece she created to the Two Sessions – a digital ceramic landscape artwork titled "Beautiful Jiangxi."
The work blends ceramic artistry with digital technology, reflecting how the ancient craft of Jingdezhen is evolving in the age of smart manufacturing. Through her research as an NPC deputy, Zhang has seen how new technologies are reshaping the ceramic industry, bringing more efficiency and possibilities. By sharing this artwork, she hopes more people will discover Jingdezhen and appreciate the timeless beauty of ceramic art. (Photos via Xinhua News Agency)
