IDF Spokesperson:The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, held a situation assessment in the last hour with the General Staff Forum following the shooting from Lebanon. The Chief of Staff approved the offensive plan for the continuation and instructed strong defensive preparations alongside ongoing offensive preparations.
