Flames and thick smoke rise from the site attacked in Bahrain, March 3, 2026. /CMG

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated Tuesday that it launched a large-scale attack with drones and missiles targeting the American Sheikh Issa base in Bahrain.

According to the statement, 20 drones and three missiles struck their targets. The US command building was destroyed, and fuel tanks were set ablaze, with flames and thick smoke seen rising from the site, IRGC said.

As of now, neither the United States nor Bahrain has released any official statements regarding the strike.
