Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) will continue to work hard with counterparts around the world to make outstanding contributions to the new energy industry, said Zeng Yuqun, founder and chairman of the Chinese battery giant.

He made the comments on Wednesday during the first Members' Corridor of the Fourth Session of the 14th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Zeng is also a member of the committee.

Zeng told reporters that the company has established a robust and resilient supply chain and ecosystem in recent years.
