In a recent interview with CGTN, Zimbabwean Ambassador to China Abigail Shoniwa said Zimbabwe and China share an unshakable belief in the equality of nations, anchored in the principles of the UN Charter, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference. She reaffirmed Zimbabwe's full support for China's global initiatives aimed at promoting genuine multilateralism and safeguarding the interests of all countries. Expressing appreciation for China's long-standing solidarity and its opposition to unilateral sanctions and external interference, she stressed that Zimbabwe has always been—and will remain—firm in supporting the one-China principle.
