China set out seven indicators in the area of public well-being in the government work report submitted on Thursday to the country's top legislature for deliberation.

According to the report, the indicators, which cover employment, income, education, medical care, health, elderly care and childcare, have been identified with the aim of better addressing pressing difficulties and problems that concern people most.
