Chinese Premier Li Qiang said the well-being of the people has reached new heights while delivering the government work report at the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on Thursday.
Li noted that over the past five years, the annual average growth rate of per capita disposable income reached 5.4%, with cumulative new urban employment exceeding 60 million people and average life expectancy rising to 79.25 years.
