Coinciding with the 2026 National Two Sessions, finding new ways of promoting cultural heritage and stimulating the vitality of China's creative industries have become hot topics of discussion. With the support of innovative government policies, China's creative industries have truly brought historical cultural heritage to life in new and exciting ways.

Russian vlogger Slava Klishauskaite, who lives in China, uses the city of Xi'an's popular plush steamed bun toy, known in Chinese as a "Rong Momo," as a starting point to delve into the current popularity of Chinese cultural products. From products with urban characteristics to blind box collectibles, various regions across China are using youthful and fun approaches to make their millennia-old history more tangible, playful and worthy of collecting. "When I'm holding this little plush, I'm not just holding a small toy; I'm holding a piece of Chinese history compressed into something small," she said.
