Improving people's livelihoods and cultivating talent were key themes at a deliberation attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress. While meeting with fellow deputies from Jiangsu Province, President Xi encouraged the economic powerhouse to take the lead in addressing emerging challenges and developing new solutions.
