The number of Chinese college graduates in 2026 is expected to reach about 12.7 million, Wang Xiaoping, Chinese minister of human resources and social security, said on Saturday. Seizing the time window before spring recruitment and graduation, she noted that the ministry will advance public employment services into campuses earlier, launch large-scale employment internships and skills training programs and guide young people to cultivate a professional spirit.

Wang was speaking at a press conference on people's livelihood on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) in Beijing.
