Nearly 40 famous global travel influencers from 13 countries, including the UK, Australia, the Republic of Korea and Singapore, visited China's domestically made large passenger jet, the C919, in Guangzhou on Friday.
This was part of an event jointly held by the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism and China Southern Airlines, aimed at showcasing the development of China's aviation industry and the culture of the Greater Bay Area.
The international influencers made their first stop at Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company, or GAMECO, where they met China's homegrown passenger aircraft, the C919, in a special livery called "Beautiful Greater Bay Area." The overall design featured blue, pink and yellow as its primary colors, incorporating elements such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, a landmark of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the ocean, a symbol of Lingnan's cultural heritage, conveying a spirit of diversity, vitality, openness and inclusiveness.

Today, I feel extremely honored to have the opportunity to visit the C919, a domestically developed large aircraft made in China. I will share this experience with more people and recommend them to come to China and experience it for themselves."
